Our Business Planning for Continuity service provides multiple sources of information, including guidance and templates, to help at a time when you may be temporarily unable to manage your business yourself.

When you start the planning process, go to ‘Toolkits to Help You Plan’, then select Planning Toolkit Overview. This document provides an introduction to the planning process and suggests a sequence for you to follow as well as a checklist to record what is done and where the final document, information, or notes are stored. The checklist also has a column for ‘Comments’ where you can mark status or next steps. Use the additional templates and guidelines to complete your plan.

We recommend beginning the Planning for Continuity process as soon as possible because accidents and illness strike without warning. The survival of the business depends upon proper planning and preparation in case of emergency; the health and growth of your business also depends on proper planning and preparation. Waiting until there is a crisis is too late!
